I was lucky to find an affordable apartment back in 2014 before rent prices exploded in my area.

Previously I rented a room in my uncle and aunt’s home in the northern midwest.

Now that I have a decent job, I’m just happy that I’m not out there wandering around amid inflation in the same way I did before I found this job at this particular company. And because of that increase in income, it made me realize that I didn’t need to live in a studio apartment any longer. I looked far and wide for apartments in my area and was forced to sign a lease at a price higher than I was expecting at first, but at least it’s in a wonderful area and I’m on the third floor with an amazing view of a huge lake and nature preserve behind the facility. But before I could hand in my old keys to my old studio apartment, I had to empty it and clean it. I hired a cleaning company to help me with most of the basic work, as well as looking for any damages to the unit. The walls were thankfully unmarked, but the grout in the tile floors was dark and stained. The cleaning company politely declined the offer to clean the grout, and instead they gave me a referral to a good grout cleaning service here in town. I was happy with the results, because in just three hours the grout cleaning service had the tile floors looking like new again. In fact, the grout cleaning service did such a good job cleaning the stains off the tile grout, the floors looked better than when I first moved in myself.
