Nowadays, it seems like finding affordable housing is almost impossible. I moved into my current home about 5 years ago, however with my family expanding, it was time to find another much bigger home. But that is easier said than done, because most houses it seems are no longer affordable. The ones that are affordable are too small. Even with selling my own home, I still fall short of some of the bigger homes I am interested in. My husband is talking about picking up another job if it helps our search for a home, and even I would like to do that, but I need to stay home and watch the kids. Although our search for houses near me hasn’t been going so well, it seems apartments near me are exploding! I have seen multiple new apartment complexes I have never seen before. It seems like there are new apartments being added every few months! Affordable apartments seem to be all over the place, and if I was looking for furnished apartments, I would be in luck! But I could never see myself using a furnished apartment for rent, unless it was like for short term housing. Anyways, even furnished homes for rent I probably wouldn’t be interested in, and that is because we are taking a lot of our current furniture with us. I am hoping we can find a nice living space near us soon, because our kids are growing really fast, and we really need the room!
