The horse stalls needed some warmer air
My wife and I decided to buy a farm when we retired.
We found an older property that needed some work and repairs.
The property came with three barns and a stable. We also inherited several chickens, cows, pigs, and horses. The horse stable made it a lot of repairs and this was something very important to my wife and I. Both of our daughters were excited about the horses and we wanted them to enjoy spending time with them and caring for the animals. My wife and I hired a contractor that specializes in farm buildings to help us design a better living space for the animals. The contractor fixed up the stable and all three of the barns. He added upgraded amenities so we could access water, heat, and air conditioning inside of the buildings. The upgraded amenities were very nice and handy during winter when the outdoor temperatures were frigid and cold. The horses had heat inside of the stalls. They were happier and healthier because of the changes that we made inside. The next set of changes are going to me to the interior of the house. I don’t need a special contractor to help me with those repairs and renovations. It will probably take a bit longer to complete all of the work, but I am looking forward to making these changes on my own. I’m really looking forward to putting a fireplace in the den. The spot is perfect to add the brickwork near the side of the house and it could be amazing.
