My mom has dry eyes and migraines
I agreed to buy a humidifier for my mom’s bedroom, and I am hoping that it will help with the dry eyes and migraines.
My mom took a tumble and fell down the stairs a couple of months ago. Everyone in the family agreed that it was no longer safe for mom to live alone. Each one of us discussed having mom in our home and I finally agreed to take on the responsibility. I am the oldest and I have a larger home than the rest of my siblings. My mom had to move to a different part of the country and she was very unhappy with that. She refused to get on an airplane and we had to drive 28 hours from her house to my house. Ever since my mom has arrived, she has complained about migraines and dry eyes. She claims that the symptoms are from the desert air. I think my mom is unhappy with the circumstances in general. I agreed to buy a humidifier for my mom’s bedroom, and I am hoping that it will help with the dry eyes and migraines. The humidifier is very easy to use and it has several different settings to allow more or less moisture in the room. I know that my mom is unhappy being away from her home and all of the places that she loves to visit, but it really is safer for her to live with one of us. This time my mom took a tumble down the stairs and spent three months in the hospital and rehab, but next time that injury might be a lot worse. My mom is older with frail bones and one more fall would cause major problems.
