In addition to the neighborhood residents who object to us playing music in the streets, we have been battling the police.

• Playing in front of crowds on the streets is a constant struggle.

On the one hand, there are the people who genuinely appreciate our music, and on the other, there are the miserable people who immediately call the police when they hear a note being played. We just want to practice somewhere random with my amazing friend. Playing in the street is a great way to get in front of people and get feedback, but if the owners of the nearby businesses call the police every time my partner and I start to play, the whole point is lost. But until then, my partner and I need a practice site. My wonderful friend and I will figure this out. I think my friend and I could play in the room that the heating and air conditioning company has, but no one would be there to watch us other than the heating and air conditioning device technicians. To get some practice in, my partner and I might go play there in the evening when no one is around. Along with asking her if she is aware of any climate-controlled spaces where my associate and I could practice that might be populated, I will speak with the local business and the local corporation. If the people there didn’t call the police in a heartbeat like they do here, my associate and I could move there and play there a few times a week. When my associate and I play outside in the winter, a friend from my current company will give us a space boiler to use.
