I like the name “ditty.” It refers to a brief, straightforward song, and even though I’m not currently writing one, let’s pretend that I am and carry on.

I write a lot of songs for our band, the funniest of which is called A Short Song and tells a lighthearted tale about a quick song.

I never imagined that 17 years of standup comedy would benefit me so much in the music industry. When my friend and I are playing, I can come up with lyrics on the spot, which gives our music a cool element. Once they fix the cooling system component in the location, the local corporation will pay us to perform outside of their arena. As the weather warms up, my friend and I don’t want to be sweating profusely while we play because we run the risk of getting shocked by the power cords or something in our sound system. I anticipate that the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning supplier will visit the building the following week to service their cooling system. At that time, I will be able to discuss with them the best time for my friend and me to perform there. Since many of our friends have been asking when my friend and I will be playing again, I think there will be a great turnout. According to the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C representative who overheard the police discussing my friend and me, my associate and I are now required to play in the neighborhood businesses because we are no longer permitted to play in the streets. At least among the local police, I think my friend and I are fairly well-known in the town.
