Well, I made it through the flurry of beach volleyball matches this weekend, playing all three days and completely exhausting myself in the process.

I played music from Wednesday night through Sunday night for a total of about four hours, so when you combine that with all of the volleyball playing, I am currently completely exhausted.

This week, I’ll take it easy, avoid the beach, hang out with friends, or perhaps ride my bike to the Beach of the Dead to unwind and clear my head. I want to see if there is anything I might need for the upcoming winter as well as take advantage of the sale that the nearby local business is having on some of its heating equipment. In the event that I find something I like, I have the option of purchasing it and storing it in our attic until the following winter. For my office where I work during the chilly season, I’m looking for a fantastic radiant space heater or even a small gas furnace. My office can get quite chilly, and if it gets too chilly, my fingers start to shiver, which makes it harder for me to write my stories and causes me to take much longer than necessary. I’ll work at my small electric boiler for a little while longer, and then I’ll move on to the home office, turn on the HEPA filter fan over the stove, and make my delicious grilled cheese sandwich. Even though I believe they aren’t very healthy for the body, I could eat them every day if I wanted to.
