I just got home from college and I promised my grandmother I would come over and help her get her house ready for the summer as soon as I got here. I would really like to take a break, but helping my grandma is more important than resting and relaxing at this point, I guess. I always try to help her out whenever and wherever I can, because she has always been there for me through the years whenever I have needed her. Now, if she needs me, she knows that all she has to do is call me and I will be there. Since I have been away at school for such a long time, I have been feeling kind of guilty about the fact that I haven’t been able to be there for her as much over the past four months! Now, though, I am definitely going to make up for it because I’m going to get everything ready for summer around her house. Tomorrow, I am planning to go over and clean out all around the exterior part of her central air conditioning system so that she can get it up and running. I’m also going to change the air filter for her and put in a new allergen reducing air filter instead. I’m going to install the window unit air conditioner for her in the upstairs bedroom because she likes to keep it running at night when she’s upstairs. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get everything done to her liking and it won’t take me too long.
