There are a lot of expenses when you attend college.

You have to pay for classes, books, food, and lodging.

All of these expenses add up quickly. Even if you are on a full scholarship, you still need some money in your pocket. I worked the whole time I was in college. Since I was going to school for web design and advertising, I used my knowledge to make some money on the side. As soon as I learned programming, I started offering my services online. I offered my services for half the price of my competitors. After I learned more about website design, I began taking more and more projects. I recently picked up a job for an HVAC repair company. The HVAC repair company specializes in commercial and industrial projects. They wanted a brand new website to reflect their specialty areas. I gave the HVAC company manager a couple of different website designs and the lady was thrilled with my work. She called me the next day with good news. They were going to offer me the contract as long as I could complete their HVAC repair company website in 2 weeks. I knew the time frame would be strenuous, but I didn’t have any exams that week. I finished that website a couple of days ago and I finally have a chance to breathe and relax. I’m not going to start another big project like that until after midterms. The money is definitely great, but I spent a lot of time working on that particular contract and I need a few weeks to recover.
