Helping me design my bedroom right
Helping me design my bedroom right
I have tried to make my bedroom something to be proud of and I just can’t.
Some people were meant to be interior designers and some weren’t. It makes sense. Not everyone can shoot a basketball, cook a great meal, be a mom, or design a pretty bedroom. I just don’t have any sort of creativity in me. I ended up hiring an interior designer to get it right. After painting and repainting and buying things I hated, I knew a professional had to do it for me. The woman immediately told me the place was all wrong. My dark purple walls were changed to a light mint color. My ugly white rug was changed to a fuzzy beige. I got rid of my missing matching furniture and got all pine furniture. The desk, bookcase, dresser, and nightstand all match one another. I bought bedding that complimented the colors. Mint sheets, a gray bedspread with gray and beige pillows. I then got tasteful curtains, complimentary knick knacks, and the bedroom just really came together. The woman even spruced up my desk area to look professional but also match. The final piece is so much more than I ever could have expected. It actually looks calm and inviting rather than a mess. I was struggling between making a fun bedroom and one that was relaxing. The woman actually achieved this look and more. I will definitely hire an interior designer and decorator for future projects when I need to add style. Professional help is always preferred.
