Sometimes I wish that my family could just learn to respect boundaries. I know that this is something nobody was educated on when my friend and I were growing up in my household. In fact, there was no such thing as respecting a word that the other humans said. We were all consistently locked in battle, trying to impress our will on others. Today, I am glad to report that adulthood has provided some distance from my tumultuous family. However, every time I see them they make sure to remind me of the boundless upbringing I endured. Namely, by refusing to accept my indoor air temperature control settings and insisting on ruining my temperature control control component when I am not looking. You see, my family is convinced that they know everything. This includes the best indoor air temperature and air quality control settings. Even though my friend and I live in wildly diverse climates, they think that my indoor air temperature is not appropriate to contend with the air temperatures and air quality outside. I am consistently trying to convince them that my central heating, cooling, and air quality control system is programmed for my own energy Efficiency needs and optimal air temperature range. However, whenever they visit they do everything in their power to reset my temperature control control program. I have entirely asked them to leave my indoor air handling devices alone about 50 times. Still, whenever they leave I will have a massive temperature control programming project to tackle. Not to mention, all of the high energy costs I’ll get to pay from their continual temperature control assaults.
