Fake leather and wood is bad

When my buddy Carl asked me to help him option up a new entryway set, I was blissful to help, after all, I have a box truck and did not have any other plans, but on our way to the chain furniture store, Carl would not stop talking about what a fantastic deal he got on a leather sofa, leather loveseats, plus a leather recliner.

He told me that the new tea table was solid oakwood too… When he told me the price he paid for this entryway set, I could not believe it, but for leather and oak, it was less than half of what I would expect, then i was thinking about looking at a furniture set myself while my buddy and I were there.

However, I changed my mind genuinely abruptly when I saw the entryway set that Carl had already paid for. It was not real leather or oak. I could tell just by looking at it that the sofa was absolutely vinyl and that the “oak” tea table just appeared to be a solid piece of furniture. In actuality, it was all particle board. I tried explaining this to Carl although he would not hear it. He had me stink the couch, and sure enough, it had that leather stink to it however it was a fake leather stink. Since he wouldn’t listen to reason, I loaded up Carl’s entryway set and helped him get it into his house; But no, I won’t be going to that furniture store for my sofa. I’m pretty sure you have to go to a place that custom builds furniture to get real leather couches and real oak tea tables nowadays.
