It’s been cooling off a lot around here the past few mornings. Whenever the Winter temperatures start setting in, you just never know what people are going to do when it comes to their Heating plus A/C systems. Sometimes people turn their gas heating systems up plus they just let them run for the duration of the winter. I guess that’s okay if you have a single of those energy efficient oil furnaces, since that way you won’t have to pay super high heating bills every week, then but sometimes people don’t understand the way to set their thermostats so that everyone will be comfortable, but for example, last evening every one of us had to go to a athletic interests banquet for my son’s fall pigskin league, but at the banquet, there were close to two hundred people. The management team at the banquet facility obviously didn’t take into account the body heat of everyone that were at the athletic interests banquet. When you have over two hundred people crammed into a single big room, the temperature is genuinely going to go up because of all of the body heat! Of course, the management team had the thermostat of the banquet facility set at a undoubtedly high temperature. The weather outside was undoubtedly cold, so having the thermostat set at a high temperature would make sense if you weren’t going to have so many people in the room. I don’t suppose the management team thought about how warm it was going to be in the room with all of those people. By the time every one of us left the banquet, I was done with heating for the evening! I didn’t even turn the furnace on in the car on the way home.
