It’s been cooling off a lot around here the past few afternoons.

Whenever the Winter time temperatures start setting in, you just never suppose what people are going to do when it comes to their Heating & A/C systems, occasionally people turn their furnaces up & they just let them run for the duration of the winter.

I suppose that’s okay if you have one of those energy efficient furnaces, since that way you won’t have to pay super high heating bills every week! But occasionally people don’t understand the way to set their temperature controls so that almost everyone will be comfortable, and for example, last night the people I was with and I had to go to a sports banquet for my son’s fall pigskin league, however at the banquet, there were close to two hundred people. The management team at the banquet facility apparently didn’t take into account the body heat of everyone that were at the sports banquet. When you have over two hundred people crammed into one giant room, the temperature is definitely going to go up because of all of the body heat! Of course, the management team had the temperature control of the banquet facility set at a absolutely high temperature. The weather outside was absolutely cold, so having the temperature control set at a high temperature would make sense if you weren’t going to have so several people in the room. I don’t suppose the management team thought about how boiling it was going to be in the room with all of those people. By the time the people I was with and I left the banquet, I was done with heating for the night! I didn’t even turn the heating system on in the car on the way home.
