I recently learned that my mom and my dad got his own control of the heating and AC system.

According to my dad this was because as he and my mom continued to get older they were starting to have different temperature preferences.

This was different from when they were younger when the two of them would agree on almost anything, including temperature preferences they got along with everything they did. Now of course they weren’t a perfect couple and they had their disagreements now and then but they were almost so similar and sometimes it seems like they could be the same person. But time changes people and as my parents got older they started to have different desires and they started to also have different temperature preferences. My parents are always both very mild tempered and so when I started having different temperatures they talked about it and they both agreed that they would get his own controlled HVAC system so that they could each have the temperature that they both wanted without there being any kind of arguments or either party being uncomfortable. They had the heating and AC guy come out this weekend and install the zone controlled HVAC system and from what they were telling me it was working really well for them. I have to see what it’s like when I go over and visit them next week.
