I consider myself to be a very clean person. I do my best to make sure that my house and my car and virtually everything that belongs to me is kept spotlessly clean. That’s why I wasn’t very happy at all when a rather unpleasant odor began emanating from my air vents. It had the vague smell of mold and mildew. I was quite frustrated, because again, I do everything in my power to make sure that the likes of mold and mildew never have the chance to grow or spread in my home. It turns out that I needed a bit of an enlightenment when it comes to heating and air conditioning systems and ductwork and air vents. Sure, I have been getting my house cleaned from top to bottom, but I never really called out an HVAC technician to thoroughly clean out my heating and air conditioning system and the duct work. As a result, funky odors were beginning to develop inside the system. I found out that this was because of a leak within the system and it was because the ductwork hadn’t been cleaned out for a really long time. Needless to say, I remedied that situation really quickly and called out a licensed HVAC technician to take care of the job! He was able to schedule maintenance work. He was also able to schedule a cleaning of the ductwork, and of course, he fixed the leak! Now I can breathe fresh air within my home, which is something I’m very passionate about indeed!
