I think that music is going to choose for me my fate as my band is hanging in the balance between success and failure at the moment.
I might be moving back to my hometown to be around my herd at the end of this year, but I’m not sure I can go back to that mouse race after residing in this peaceful neighborhood for numerous years now. I haven’t driven a car here in so long and I like the simplicity of life here, as opposed to the nonstop frantic pace back home where life seems to get pushed along faster than I like. I just miss my family and outdated heating and cooling rep friends back home, so I need to decide this year if Europe will be my home from now on or if I will go back to my hometown to ride out my remaining years. I think that music is going to choose for me my fate as my band is hanging in the balance between success and failure at the moment. My bandmate, who I met while working on a commercial Heating and A/C system one afternoon, is depressed and I don’t know if he is going to have the gumption to get himself out of this episodic rut he’s been in since we met a year ago. I can’t play with someone who is so sad all of the time, so these next 5 months will be my deciding factor as to whether I stay here and pursue music or move back home to be with my heating and cooling tech buddies and work for the local corporation for a few more years. I think time tells you what to do and not the opposite.
