This week is Thursday, all afternoon, like Tom’s dad used to say to him when he asked what day it is. It is strange that he didn’t even know what day it was when he was younger, and the strange thing is Tom still forgot what the date is now at 45 years old. And maybe that is a terrible thing, he is not sure. He works seven days a week, so there is no weekend or Sundays for him, as all days are the same in his world. Tom has been working about 16 hours a week since 2002 when his Heating and A/C equipment manufacturing task ended and he never went back to that corporate world again. Tom couldn’t see himself working in an office environment anymore after eleven years of doing it, so he quit and became a skydiver and comedian for the next 18 years. His Heating and A/C corporation where he works now has him working part time doing heating systems sales and service, and Tom intends to work for them for about 7 more years before he does something different. He can’t tell the future though so there is no point in even saying he will stay with them 7 more years. Tom could be gone by then who knows. Anyway, this week he is meeting some heating corporations for a Tim Hortons Latte and then he will all take a cool swim in the sea before going back to his job at the cooling corp for a couple of hours. Tom is going to get some tepid water soon too because they are delivering his heater this afternoon.
