It’s been a big year for us, and I think it’s been an even greater year for our youngsters.

It’s like they are encountering a whole new world. My wife and I decided not to raise our youngsters in the city, but that meant moving out of the apartment building with the intense radiant heating. But it’s not as though we just moved out to the suburbs either. In fact, we moved way past the suburbs plus all the way out to a genuinely rural community. My wife and I are in a position that we can work remotely from home, and periodically, we have to leave the central air conditioner of our new place to go into the neighborhood for work, but yet primarily, we are out here plus out here to stay. But it’s been a big change for our youngsters. They left the only environment they knew to rapidly be out in nature where things are much easier plus much quieter. And where they live is very different as well. We purchased an old farmhouse that sits on 10 acres. The house itself is somewhat modernized. It has a replaced family room along with other new amenities. But the central air conditioner is limited to just the first floor, however, we wanted the youngsters family rooms to be upstairs, and so the local heating and air conditioning company installed a series of ductless heat pumps for quality heating plus air upstairs. Hopefully, our youngsters will continue to transition to our new life in a positive way. And I think the great heating plus cooling upstairs is area of that new reality.
