It was time for a new heat pump
It was time for a new heat pump
It was sort of unusual to see the aged heat pump in a heap laying in the back of the HVAC corporation truck, it was almost tragic in a way.
This amazing piece of HVAC technology was now just parts and headed to be recycled. This was the same heat pump that gave quality heating and air for the better area of 25 years. That spanned the raising of our children and the several shifts in our lives, then to see that heat pump just tossed in that truck like so much trash sort of broke my heart, and how silly is that reaction? Of course, the heat pump is a unit that has a chock full of relaxing HVAC technology. But the heat pump does not have a heart or a brain. The heat pump can’t feel pain or understand its usefulness! Yet of course, I tend to humanize even something like a heat pump. I don’t know why I am like that but it’s been that way my entire life, when I finally got my first bike with 10 speeds, my dad wanted to give away my old bike. I told him I would rather him give away my new 10 speed because that old bike was my friend. So I know it should not have honestly shocked me that it was tough to say goodbye to my aged neighbor the heat pump. But the more I thought about it, I realized that getting a new heat pump was just yet another indication that time is slipping away. It was the first appliance that I ever bought and thanks to lots of HVAC repair, it sure served us well. I am eager to enjoy the new heat pump and all the new HVAC technology that goes with it as well.
