I haven’t done very many things that I am proud to say I have completed, but my partner has.

He is an excellent HVAC technician, and he has awards to prove it.

Whenever I hear someone talking about needing an HVAC technician, I shove one of his business cards into their hands. Last week, my partner came home, and he was aggravated. He told me he got called into the office at the HVAC company. They wanted to know why he was handing out business cards that weren’t from the HVAC company. People were calling for him like he was the owner of the HVAC company, and they wanted no one but him to work on their HVAC system. He had to do some double talking to keep from getting fired, and he didn’t enjoy begging for his job. He asked me where I got the business cards, and I told him I had them printed up. I thought I was doing something good for the HVAC company, and for him. He was furious and walked away from me. An hour later, he came out into the kitchen, and he said I couldn’t continue doing this type of thing. He worked for an HVAC company, but he didn’t own it. If I was going to hand out business cards, they had to be for the HVAC company he worked for. When I suggested he should have his own HVAC company; he got angrier. He walked out and slammed the door while complaining that I would never get it through my head.
