As you get older, there are times when you find yourself doing something for maybe the last time… I felt that way the last time I went snow skiing.

I’ve never been all that into outdoor Wintertide pursuits.

I’m from the south & if it’s cold outside, both of us flip on the heat pump & stay inside; But my wife is from a area of the country where that would be being inside with the gas oil furnace on for weeks at a time… That’s just not something those folks do. Instead, they get outside & they do stuff like skiing; Normally, both of us join other parts of my wife’s family for a skiing trip while I was in the winter. I guess I’ve done my last a single. It was too cold & I was sore for a week from falling. I could literally go the rest of my life without going skiing again. Thanks to the HVAC professionals, I’ve also installed the last residential HVAC unit that I’ll ever need, my wife & I decided to stay put when both of us retire, so both of us replaced the HVAC unit on our apartment & sold it, but with the proceeds from that sale, my wife & I chose to build a small apartment for just us & the cat. This is going to be where both of us spend our retirement years. Both of us designed it to be sustainable & self-explanatory to maintain. That’s why both of us decided to go with the geothermal heat pump. This sort of heat pump is most efficient because it relies on the near constant temperature of the earth for heating & cooling energy, and on top of all the heating & cooling utility savings, the geo heat pump has incredible longevity. So it will be producing quality heating & air for easily as long as I live.
