I work for a supplier that has me traveling a lot… It used to be me residing in plus out of hotel rooms. I got fantastic at studying what to pack for the trip, but then the trips started extending past a few afternoons. I turned into weeks plus eventually weeks at a time. I complained heavily to our boss that residing in a hotel room for over a month isn’t feasible… Not having a kitchen was horrible on our waistline, however eating out for every meal alone got old. I missed having a sofa plus a comfy bed at night. I told him that I needed a fully furnished house or I was done traveling. I actually got our demands met. Now when I travel I have corporate housing set up for me, but depending on how long our stints are, swings what kind of accommodation I get. I occasionally am in a temporary housing situation when it is only a few afternoons! When our stay is going to be a moht, I am in a fully furnished house on a month to month lease. My location of work pays for the lease. I just need to do food plus anything extra. I now love when I am longer due to better accommodations. I have found that I utilize the kitchen provided all the time. I never eat a meal out anymore. I choose to make something simple in our tiny kitchen, watch tv plus go to bed. I don’t bother meeting people plus making friends. It is only a few weeks max. I don’t mind our own supplier after all.
