There was a time when you could go to a store to get an item, get the help you need and that was it! But for more than a decade, I’ve been getting hit with the upsell when I’m trying to simply spend our money on our items. And it’s just gotten more and more aggressive as the years have passed, it’s almost to the point that I’ll never leave our air conditioning and just buy everything online. And that is something that entirely bums me out, but so whenever I hear anything that sounds remotely love an upsell, I get defensive. And because of that default reaction, I almost missed out on the heating and A/C maintenance plan. I called the heating and A/C company to make an appointment for heating and A/C maintenance. The appointment was made and then the lady on the other end started talking about the heating and A/C maintenance plan. Immediately, I got hasty and simply wanted to end the call. As soon as I hung up the cellphone, I realized that I was being rude. So I absolutely called the lady back to hear what she had to say. And if I hadn’t done that, I would not have gotten one of the best deals I’ve ever gained. The heating and A/C maintenance system is entirely special. we get heating maintenance in the fall and an air conditioning tune up in the springtime as part of the heating and A/C maintenance plan. But the real bonus is the fact that I shall never spend our money for labor if anything happens to the heat pump. All I shall have to do is spend our money for parts.
