It’s almost to the point that I’ll never leave our air conditioning and just buy everything online. And that is something that honestly bums me out. So whenever I hear anything that sounds remotely like an upsell, I get defensive. And because of that default reaction, I almost missed out on the HVAC service plan. I called the HVAC contractor to make an appointment for HVAC service. The appointment was made and then the lady on the other end started talking about the HVAC service plan. Immediately, I got hasty and simply wanted to end the call. As soon as I hung up the cellphone, I realized that I was being rude. So I really called the lady back to hear what she had to say. And if I hadn’t done that, I would not have gotten one of the best deals I’ve ever earned. The HVAC service proposal is honestly special. We get heating service in the fall and an air conditioning tune up in the springtime as part of the HVAC service plan. But the real bonus is the fact that I will never spend money on labor if anything happens to the heat pump. All I will have to do is spend our money on parts.
