I am one of the quirkiest people my husband has ever met.

Sometimes I wonder why he even married me since I do the oddest of things.

I am one of those people who have an internal thermostat that doesn’t work. It doesn’t matter how warm it gets, I can never get warm. I am always turning up the thermostat so that I can get warm. When summer comes, I am in big trouble. I would gladly go without any air conditioning, but I know that my husband can’t. He will set the thermostat for seventy and I will have chills running up and down my spine. I hated when I had to work in an office setting. Do you know how hard it is to work when you are sharing a thermostat with ten other people. I had to have the thermostat at seventy-five if I even wanted to be mildly comfortable. I always had a jacket and a sweater at work so that I could always be comfortable. A couple of months ago, I was given the opportunity to work from home. Now, I only share the thermostat with one person. I try not to complain about the air conditioning because I know how my husband is. I have put my office in our bedroom. My computer is set up by the window so I have the summer sun shining on me. I also have pillows put up against the air vent to keep the air conditioning from getting into the room. The only glitch in this plan is when I forget to remove the pillows at night. It gets so warm that I am awake most of the night.
