The pet scared the heck out of me
The pet scared the heck out of me
When I opened the door, the pet was resting on the other side, ready to pounce on me.
I do not respectfully go to apartments to help with AC complications. Most of the house buildings around here have a building employer or service guy that is Heating, Ventilation plus A/C certified. I got a call from a service employer south of town. The guy told me that he needed help installing an AC machine and he didn’t have extra people to do the work. He wondered if I could handle the installation task that afternoon and get it done by myself. I was cheerful to help and I had the time to help with the commercial Heating, Ventilation plus A/C installation task. An house AC install does not take truly long so I knew I could complete the task before the end of the afternoon. The service guy said he would pop in and out to help with some of the hard stuff too, so I knew that would help with several of the large tasks that would take a while to complete. I asked the building service employer for the keys to the apartment. I never asked the guy if there was a pet inside. It completely slipped my mind and the service employer failed to tell me that there was a pet inside. When I opened the door, the pet was resting on the other side, ready to pounce on me. Thankfully, the pet was much more friendly than fierce. He didn’t make a truly fantastic watch pet although I was pretty scared for a seventh. I was going to put the pet in one of the dining rooms while I worked on the install, but the pet seemed perfectly calm and cheerful with me in the room. There was no reason to lock him up for my safety.
