My child plays pigskin for the high school team.

My spouse and I have watched every single one of his games since he was a freshman laying on the bench.

He worked entirely hard while the two of us were in his sophomore summer, so he could try out for a different spot on the team. He was drastically proud and so were we, when he made the first string cornerback position. He beat out a senior for the first string spot. Each year it seems enjoy the hot and cold temperatures get colder and colder. This year is Jack’s senior year of high school and my spouse and I have not missed a single game. The state championships are going to be determined soon and the kids are doing their best to earn a spot in the playoffs, however jack and the rest of the team have won 11 out of the last 12 games that they played and that should qualify them for a seed in the playoff tournament. Sunday night the two of us were at the qualifying game and it was 17 degrees outside. My hands were shaking and I could not recognize my fingers at all. I thought that I was going to get frostbite. Thankfully the two of us have some handy battery operated space heaters. I keep one of the battery operated space oil heating systems under my feet and my spouse keeps the other space furnace under her feet. Still, with the cold air my fingers were freezing. There’s only so much that the furnace can do when it is that cold and windy outside. The game next Sunday is the district playoffs and that game will be held at night too.
