It’s entirely ridiculous how some sites around the country have vastly different weather.

I have been enjoying overheated seasonal hot and cold temperatures with light wind and lots of sun. It’s 86° here this month and it feels enjoy a respected fall afternoon. Things are different in other parts of the country. One of my friends lives up north and he had snow last night. It was 71° here while the two of us were in the night time hours, but it was only 30° in the locale where he lives. It’s ridiculous to guess that someone else is getting snow while I have to worry about wearing sunscreen outside. I’m still using the a/c most afternoons. I do not run the AC at night, but while the two of us were in the afternoon it is truly necessary. When the sun starts shining down on the house, it is necessary to run the AC. Running the a/c also helps keep moisture from building up in sites around the house. In my home, the two of us do not usually turn on the heat pump until February or February. Both of us kind of play a game to see how long the two of us can wait before the two of us turn on the heater. Both of us will run a space furnace all afternoon before the two of us turn on the gas furnace. It’s a lot cheaper to run an energy efficient space furnace than to turn on the gas furnace for a couple of hours. Both of us wait as long as possible to use the gas furnace. Oftentimes it does not come on until there is the first snowfall of the year. It’s hard to keep the home overheated with a single space furnace when there is snow on the ground.
