I love date nights with my girlfriend. We always watch a different movie at the end of the night. We were watching a movie last week and there was a scene in the movie where the repairman was fixing the HVAC system. The main character contacted the AC repair service because she heard some strange sounds coming from the ductwork. It turned out to be a man hiding in her attic, but the AC repair man didn’t find the guy when he performed a thorough investigation of the system. I thought that was really strange, because the guy would have customarily gone into the attic to check on the ductwork. That is part of a routine and traditional HVAC service. There is simply no way that any trained and licensed professional would not have found that guy in the attic. He had letters and magazines and posters on the wall. The guy was living in the attic for weeks before she started hearing weird and bizarre sounds. I was sitting with my girlfriend at the time and I started talking about the movie and all of the plot lines that did not make sense. She did not want to hear me talk about how the HVAC repairman was not acting right. She wanted me to be quiet so she could enjoy the suspense of the movie. I’ve tried to sit back and relax and go with the flow, but it was really bugging me to see those tiny mistakes in the movie that could have been fixed by consulting with any HVAC person.
