Ever since we got our son a drum when he was a youngster, he always was fascinated with playing the drum.

He learned all kinds of interesting beats and was very creative when it came to music. We eventually got him a whole drum set, but we said he had to play them in the garage. I was able to soundproof the garage but realized there was a little more needed for comfort. My son needed at least some air conditioning, but I thought it would be nice to have heating and cooling. I eventually discovered that a ductless mini split would be great. I had a professional come out to take care of the installation. Some friends of mine said that I should have done it on my own, but with no HVAC knowledge, I didn’t think that would be a wise move. Still, the HVAC professional did a great job and my son suddenly had perfect comfort while he was practicing on his drums. He eventually got some buddies to play in a band together and they always practiced their music, even in the winter season. I’ll tell you, that ductless mini split works well and it provides heating down to negative 5 degrees fahrenheit which is impressive! I can’t imagine they would want to practice if it was any colder than that! They have played at a few local events and I expect them to really go places in the future. My son thanks me all the time for the ductless mini split install, because he says he wouldn’t be able to play nearly as well without it.
