Now all I want is my brother back, and I feel heartbroken knowing he’s gone forever

It kills me that my brother died all alone in his room. He ended up moving in with some roommates and he got into drugs. The thing is, my brother was never into any bad stuff like that, so I definitely blame his roommates. Of course, they all deny ever giving him any drugs, but I feel deep down they had something to do with what happened. It turned out that my brother overdosed on heroin. I couldn’t believe he would inject something like that into his veins, but he did. Something that made me especially sad was the fact that he was using the window AC unit I got him for college. I told him that the window AC unit would keep him comfortable through his college experience. I told him he better study hard and get good grades, and he said he would. But he overdosed one fateful night and he had the window AC unit running overnight until one of his roommates asked if he was okay in the morning and by then he had already been dead for many hours. The roommate called the police and then my parents were soon contacted by the police with the devastating news. I was so mad at those roommates, I told them all they should’ve checked on my brother sooner so he could have been taken to the hospital. Now all I want is my brother back, and I feel heartbroken knowing he’s gone forever. I also blame myself because I should’ve visited him more often and I could’ve schooled him on some energy saving tips or something. I maybe could have stopped him from doing drugs and getting himself killed.
