My kids had not ever seen real snow until recently.

Both of us have lived down south for the past 10 years. All 4 of the children were born here and none of them have ever seen snow except on tv. When there were a couple of forecasted afternoons that were going to dip below 32 degrees overnight, it seemed like the perfect recipe for a few snow flurries. When the forecast started showing rain, I kept my fingers crossed for snow. I had needed to use the heat pump a lot more than normal because of the colder afternoons.
