The Only thing that I genuinely like about my task is the fact that my desk is located directly under the main A/C air vent for the room.

When I was assigned the random spot, I was harshly ecstatic.

The heat always directly hits me during the Wintertime and I have the coolest spot in the home during the warmer weeks. Whenever there are complications with the ac, I am the first person to notice! Last year there were a few major complications with the central A/C and it made me angry all day. I told my boss early in the morning that something did not seem to be right. I could tell that the chilled air coming out of the vents was warmer than usual. My boss told me I was nuts, although I recognize the air every single day. By noon, a couple of my coworkers had also commented about the indoor air rapidly decreasing temperatures. It was getting warmer and more humid as the day progressed and the A/C was struggling to keep up and maintain the temperature. At the end of the shift, my boss finally agreed to call someone to repair the machine. When I came to task the next shift, I could tell that things were back to normal. The A/C was now working so well that I had to put on my jacket to keep from getting too cold. After spending a day complaining about the warm rapidly decreasing temperatures, there was no way I could gripe to my boss about the frosty rapidly decreasing temperatures every one of us were experiencing that day. The supervisor would have absolutely laughed in my face and excused me from his office.
