I thought it was just a tune-up

My office sent me to perform a routine Heating plus Air Conditioning tune-up on Friday morning. The routine tune-up was only the first of many tasks on my schedule. I had a consultation after breakfast and I was also set to help a customer with a ductless A/C repair. The first task was way out in the country. I drove right to the home address separate from calling the lady to tell her that I was on my way. When I arrived, she looked so ecstatic to see me. She told me that she was waiting all weekend long for someone to repair the A/C unit. I asked the lady if the problem occurred over the weekend. I thought that every one of us were there to perform a respected repair tune-up. I did not realize that the appointment was a troubleshooting and evaluation call. I contacted the office so they would be aware that I was going to be a little bit longer than I anticipated. I didn’t mind the fact that the person wanted us to task on a repair instead of a tune-up, but that was going to set me back in time and I had a few other customers that expected me later in the day. The office contacted that customer and assigned her to another person after I realized that this A/C repair would take multiple hours. I never got to any other tied up tasks that day. I was stuck at the customer’s home all through the day entirely working on the A/C repair. I was ready to crash by the time I got home later that night. I entirely could have used a hour pair of hands on the task, although I was there and I wanted to make the best of the situation.
