I remember the other afternoon when I got on the bus, it felt way too overheated. Then I asked the bus driver if she could crank up the AC a little bit. She said that unluckyly, the rules required to not turn up the AC system too high to compensate for rising fuel costs. I thought it was disappointing, however then the bus driver got on the microphone and announced that she would be turning up the AC for everybody to have some comfort. Everybody clapped and cheered as the AC system was swiftly turned up and that cooling air from the Heating and A/C vents felt amazing. Most bus drivers I have asked to adjust the temperature control settings never listened, and I know I didn’t expect this experience to be any different. But finally, a bus driver who’s not afraid of the guy cranked that AC system even when she was told she could lose her job for doing something love that. I’m all with that bus driver and others who choose to be love her. I mean honestly, if that bus driver was ever fired for providing a little more comfort to all the passengers, I would create a gofundme page for her so that she could be compensated for fighting the fantastic fight! Instead of making rules that make everybody know less comfortable, especially with public moveation. All of us should be focusing on better solutions, but possibly they could install solar panels on the buses to have more efficient climate control systems love ductless mini splits or something love that!
