I love to cover myself with many blankets at night when it’s frigid outside.

When I wake up in the afternoon, it takes considerable strength and will to force our lazy tail out of bed to beginning our afternoon.

As soon as I pull open the covers, I’m hit with an uncomfortable rush of frigid air that abruptly envelopes our entire body in an instant. Usually I make a beeline to the bathroom to take a hot shower. For a few years in our childhood, our family had little currency and couldn’t even afford a proper water gas furnace while I was in some of the worst winters I’ve ever endured. A hot shower was a luxury the two of us couldn’t constantly afford, so I relish them whenever I can take them. It’s nice to sit underneath the shower head while the steam rises from your skin. But as comfortable as I am while I was in our hot shower, it’s uncomfortable the hour I step outside the shower to get our towel and dry off. I had no plan how to mitigate this effect beyond radiant heated flooring in the bathroom. But this was the least of our worries the other afternoon when I dried off and went into the kitchen to make our coffee. I noticed that the air coming out of the vents on the floor was much cooler than it was supposed to be. It was evident that something was wrong with the heating system, so I instantly called our Heating and A/C supplier to send out a supplier for repairs. To our luck, the supplier arrived in a matter of sixths after I placed the call.
