I could look out, but they couldn't look in.

One of the coolest things about our new window tint was that I could look out, but no one could see in.

My wife had picked a window tint that was decorative.

When I was outside looking at how nicely it matched our home color, I told her ‌I couldn’t see anything. She thought I had a touch of sun blindness, but I told her that wasn’t it. I could see the decorative window tint, but I couldn’t see anything inside the house. We thought this anomaly could be because of how bright it was outside, and dark inside. That evening, we sat in the living room watching television. Our neighbors always wave as they walk by the house, but not on this night. I went outside and told my wife to turn on all the lights. I could tell it was brighter, but ‌I couldn’t see in the house. It was like all the lights were out. I do not know how you can take decorative window tint and have it give a blackout effect. Like I said, I thought it was one of the coolest things I had ever seen. The worst thing about how nice the window tint looks and works, is that my wife now wants it installed on every window in the house. She has already been looking at stained glass window tints for the attic and bathroom window. They face opposite directions from the living room, so they won’t clash with the living room decorative window tint.
