I have a few good things to say about our local zoo.

It’s in a fantastic location that seems entirely exotic.

You actually feel like you’re going on a real trip whenever you go to the zoo with all the amazing animals they have, from polar bears and crocodiles to bald eagles and chimpanzees. Something that I really appreciate about the zoo is their quality heating and air. You can go anytime throughout the year, except for when the weather is too severe. Still, it’s not bad going to the zoo in the midst of the winter because they keep all the pathways cleared. Through most of the zoo, they actually have heated floors or rather heated pathways so that snow doesn’t build up and also so that guests remain comforted while walking through the zoo. The animals enjoy the same comfortable temperature control settings which is amazing. I can’t imagine the cost for such cozy heating systems throughout the zoo, but it makes it always worth going there. You wouldn’t believe how many people make their way out there during the colder months. Of course, there’s always something exciting happening in the warm season! They have special events around all the holidays. We just recently went to the sizable easter egg hunt and the ‘take pictures with the Easter Bunny’ event. Our children were loving that as they did the Easter Egg in the center park area of the zoo which is absolutely huge. It’s also surrounded by eateries and facilities where you can picnic and have a relaxing time with your loved ones.
