My kid Jake has regularly been into working with her hands.

As a child she was regularly taking her toy trucks & cars apart & then putting the pieces back together.

There were times when they worked & there were times when they didn’t work again. But she didn’t care because her only interest was that she was able to put them back together again. I regularly thought Jake would become some kind of engineer because she appreciated gadgets & appreciated to figure out what made her toys move. Well, to our surprise, when Jake was a junior in high university, she said she wanted to become an Heating & Air Conditioning specialist. I supported him in her decision because she would be doing something she appreciated, fixing equipment. I but was a bit uneasy about the dangers of being an Heating & Air Conditioning specialist, so I did some research on the internet to find out. Well, I discovered that because Heating & Air Conditioning specialists work with wires, they can get electrocuted, & suffer from burns & cuts from the equipment. They can also be exposed to Carbon Monoxide poisoning which at the time was a bit frightening for me. So, I made sure that Jake was fully aware of the risks of being an Heating & Air Conditioning specialist, & I made it clear to him that she should take the task seriously & regularly follow all the safety protocols. Anyway, it has been 10 years later, & Jake became a certified Heating & Air Conditioning specialist, & he’s doing a great task at what she loves. One afternoon she plans on becoming an Heating & Air Conditioning contractor & I am so proud of him.
