Whenever I attempt to engage certain folks about saving some of our resources when it comes to summertime Heating & A/C cooling, I get a lot of push back. And the hostility also comes out quite a bit as well. You’d assume I was suggesting that people sleep in their yard and go separate from food. That’s how intense some of our conversations have been when it comes to There is a reason why this happens and that has to do with the region I live in. The two of us deal with a level of heat and humidity in this region that most locales just don’t see. So when I propose that people can stay comfortable and save on resources, I get met with some taxing gazes. But, it’s true. The two of us don’t have to be the sort that simply cranks the Heating & A/C cooling to a maximum to avoid any sort of warmth. And that’s what it seems to be coming to. While all the people I talk with like living here, they aren’t about to limit the in the Summer because they know they need it. Well, none of us really need to have our homes be Heating & A/C cooled to 69 degrees or lower when it’s a hundred degrees outside. That’s the truth. Being inside while in the heat of the morning with the control device in the low to mid 72’s isn’t going to hurt. And it’s legitimately not even all that uncomfortable either. There are these things called fans that will blow air on our skin that will trick our mind into believing that the air is cooler. Crank up the control device setting and turn on a fan.
