One of the things that drives me crazy about my wife is how she always has cold feet all the time.

When we first met, she told me how her feet are always cold, but until we got married and moved in together, I didn’t really realize what an issue the heating system in our house would end up being.

She’s always complaining about her cold feet, and she’s always looking for ways that she could be heating them up. I must have spent a thousand dollars on fuzzy socks last year alone! I also installed a gas fireplace for her and we put extra heating vents throughout the house in all of the baseboards. This was all just so she could feel the forced air heating from our gas furnace system right on her feet every morning. It doesn’t matter what kind of slippers or socks she wears, though. And it doesn’t even help much when she stands in front of the heating vents. It’s pretty awful, honestly. She drives me nuts with all of her constant complaining and how she is always turning up the thermostat higher and higher. She thinks that if she just turns the thermostat up high enough, then her feet will get warm. But I don’t think that’s actually the case! I think we are going to have to break down and get radiant heated flooring installed in our house. I am pretty sure that radiant heated floors are the only type of heating system that will actually help with her chronically cold feet!
