My stomach dropped as I watched the HVAC repair technicians haul my HVAC system out of my townhouse and into their work truck. Believe it or not that unit was the second one that I messed up because of my carelessness. Perhaps, I have a serious problem, and frankly, I am sick of wasting extra money to fix HVAC units. Instead of listening to the internet on what I should do with my HVAC unit, I have decided to stick to the professionals. I called up a local Heating, Ventilation, and A/C business and explained my situation, and asked them for advice on some possible solutions. The staff was genuinely kind and supportive and recommended that I sign up for their yearly service agreement. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C service agreement is where you pay a yearly fee to cover Heating, Ventilation, and A/C tune ups, Heating, Ventilation, and A/C service, part upgrades and more depending on what your HVAC system requires. The plan is cheaper than the cost of my yearly HVAC repair bills, and since they would send me a reminder when it was time for service, I wouldn’t forget and waste my money. This plan sounded perfect, and I couldn’t see where anything could go wrong. I happily paid the fee, and I got a text from them that gave me extra information about the plan. It all seemed solid, and I couldn’t wait for my first repair. I told my friends about my solution, and they seemed happy, but some internet friends advised that I made a mistake, but I would rather not listen to them again, but instead, I will stick with the HVAC professionals.
