I had been waiting on a call back from the job of my dreams.
I had interviewed with them a week ago and had been waiting for the call of my lifetime. I thought the interview went well and I knew a lot of the questions asked. When I finally got the call, the first person I contacted was my sister. The new job required me to move to another state within a week. I would be working for the most prestigious air conditioning business in the state as an air conditioning expert. My sister was sad to see me leave but we promised to have video calls as often as possible. I was surprised and worried when I found about 10 missed calls from my sister one Sunday morning. Upon calling her back, she complained to me about how the central air conditioner was not working. The indoor air cleaning system had also stopped working which really worried my sister considering my nephew had asthma and was very susceptible to allergies. There were no cooling techs working on a Sunday, so my sister called me. Her air conditioning install was done about five years ago and I had always insisted that she be prompt in replacing her air filters as well as having a cooling workman handle any necessary air conditioning repairs. This would ensure that the cooling products were working optimally all through. It would also increase the indoor air quality significantly. Through video call, we checked on the HVAC unit and I guided her on the steps involved in a proper air conditioning tune-up. It was challenging, but we were able to handle the air conditioning service. Within about three hours, the quality air conditioner was up and running optimally.
