So that’s when I started to do my research on the latest in residential HVAC. There had been a whole lot of advancement in HVAC technology over the ensuing years. And after consulting with the HVAC professionals, my wife and I chose some higher end heating and cooling equipment. We loved the idea of having zone controlled HVAC and a smart thermostat. Plus, the improved efficiency made us feel better about using resources. But what I didn’t factor in was the fact that we would be saving so much on utility costs with the new HVAC unit. We saved so much in fact that it really made a big difference in helping to pay for the new HVAC. Again, I just love when these little hidden bonuses come out to add to an already great situation.
