We also love each other and enjoy our home life.

It’s just that we work so much that we don’t like having to do all the chores and cleaning when we are at home together. We’re lucky to make enough money so we don’t have to do that. It’s much more pleasant simply relaxing in the air conditioning together on the weekend instead of doing chores or projects. But again, we’re fortunate to have the money to pay for a cleaning service and we have a handyman. Our handyman is great and he’s at our house virtually every week. The man knows how to fix, build or improve just about anything around the house. So of course when the air conditioning was acting weird, I texted him. And I got an immediate phone call in return. This was the first time I can remember our handyman just simply saying no. But he let me know why he was saying no and gave me a bit of an HVAC education at the same time. Our handyman explained that there could be many things causing the problems with the HVAC cooling. And while he had a basic understanding of the heat pump, he was far from qualified to render an HVAC repair. He went on to explain all the training and certification the HVAC technician goes through just to get and keep his job. It was all very enlightening and I now understand why those folks are called HVAC professionals.
