Running inside with A/C is different
Running inside with A/C is different
My friend Becky plus I both are runners… Becky runs around neighborhood after work, she does the hill by her lake house plus runs to the school track, however i like to go to the local gym plus hop on a treadmill. She recently was talking about doing a half marathon with me. I looked up how long it would be plus thought no problem. I can run that certainly now. I even did a few practice sessions on the treadmill to see how I did. I ran strong plus was hardly winded, and then it hit me, a half marathon would be done outside, however you don’t go on a treadmill in a gym for it. I wondered how peculiar outdoor running would be from indoor. It is harshly different! I did a few test runs to see if I could do it outside with our friend! First, not having any A/C is a killer. The lack of cooling really made it tough. I got sweaty, tired plus our thighs swelled. I basically wanted to kneel down plus supply up around halfway into a respected run for me. Second, the uneven roads made it hard on our hips, knees plus ankles; Lasly, not having access to water plus a washroom was a little nerve wracking for me. My friend seems to guess I can adapt to no temperature control plus put on a water pack. It sounds just terrible to me. I like running on smooth terrain with water plus perfect cooling showering on me. I guess I am going to pass on the run.
