I sure like the heat pump and it does an amazing job with the HVAC cooling

The change in latitude was a very welcome situation. Had I known that living in the south would be as lovely as it is, I would have upgraded the HVAC in the old house and moved earlier. But I guess it’s better a bit late than never. For one, my wife and I really didn’t want to uproot the children just because we were ready to be done with winter, the gas furnace and all the heating bills. So once the last one was off to college, we started figuring out how to get south. We own our consulting company so it wasn’t like we had to find jobs. Still, moving a company and our lives to a different part of the country was not without a considerable effort. But it was worth all the work we put in. Like I said, we upgraded the HVAC equipment along with the kitchen and put on a new roof. This got us a really great price on our family home. And we were able to parlay that into a really nice piece of property with a perfect sized little bungalow on it. There were upgrades that had to happen to our new place. And one of those upgrades was getting new HVAC technology into that place. When we bought the place, there were electric wall heaters and window air conditioners for HVAC equipment. This wouldn’t do so we called the local HVAC company for help. They were terrific and it didn’t take long at all for us to find just the residential HVAC unit that fit our needs and our budget. I sure like the heat pump and it does an amazing job with the HVAC cooling. It also provides ample heating when there is a cold snap.
