I have been putting off personally having an HVAC supplier come out plus look at our HVAC plan for as long as I possibly can remember.

I was distraught about the potential for an expensive repair.

After all, my brother recently had his heating system repaired plus it cost a lot of extra money. That is because they really had to upgrade the heating system as it couldn’t be properly repaired. I felt distraught that something such as that would happen to me if I called out our HVAC issue. You see, for over a year now the family study room has been really uncomfortable. In the Summer the study room is always warm. In the middle of Winter the study room is always cold. It didn’t used to be uncomfortable. Well, this year it is not only the study room. Now the hallway is also uncomfortable. I already knew it was time to call up the HVAC professionals. Thankfully, it turned out not to be a super luxurious and expensive repair. At least they didn’t have to upgrade our entire HVAC system. Instead, I found that the two of us just needed our ductwork taken care of. Apparently you are really supposed to have your ductwork cleaned out every few years or so. Well the two of us have absolutely never had that done. Additionally, our ductwork needed sealing. It was the ductwork sealing that ironed out the troubles with our study room. I believe air was escaping into the attic instead of going on all the way through the ductwork as it is supposed to. Now that the duct work is all sealed up, The study room plus hallway really are just as comfortable as the rest of the house.
