I’ve been living down here in the south for years, but I’m starting to think that I’m going to have to move up north because I’m sick of the high temperatures down here. It’s just annoying to me to have to worry about the state of my air conditioning system literally all the time. Air conditioning is really expensive, and when you live down in the south, there really isn’t a day very often where you don’t need to run your cooling system. I know that sounds crazy, but when you are someone like me who hates being hot, it’s difficult to deal with being inside when it’s hot and stuffy. I think that the temperatures around here stay above 80 degrees outside for at least three quarters of the year. It’s ridiculous, and if you’re someone like me who doesn’t like the heat, it makes your life pretty miserable. I have been thinking about it for a while now, and I’ve gotten a job offer at a place up north which I am thinking about taking. The last time that I got my cooling bill in the mail, it was twice what I thought it should be. The HVAC company said that it probably meant that it was just about time to replace my entire air conditioning unit. That’s not what I wanted to hear at that point. I really think that I would rather pick up and move up north instead of paying to get this air conditioning replaced at this point. I would rather deal with the cold than with the heat anymore.
